Performative Reading
Lecture together with Hanne König at Badischer Kunstverein Karlsruhe.
What if? Feminist approaches have always pursued to question the historically grown, inherent power structures of society. Where lie the origins of this circumstances and which areas of life must be changed to begin the project of changing society as a whole? Not only did political lobbies and feminist theories derive from these questions, but also imaginative, speculative tendencies, among others, in the form of science fiction literature. Which visions, motives, and ideas are to be found in them?
This evening is inspired by feminist questioning and imaginations of “other worlds”, by the means of collage, these will become an audio visual story between speculative theories and feminist science fiction, historical facts and fantastic lies.
